What is it specifically about?

Being innovative means more than just having an idea that hasn’t yet appeared on the market. Innovation has been firmly anchored at LAPP since the company’s founding and has led to a huge variety of products and services. The key success factor is the link between what concerns customers and the strengths of LAPP. As a global market leader in connection technology, LAPP considers a customer focus to be what makes an innovation marketable in the first place.

In the on-demand webinar FOCUS NOW “Think Innovatively. Act Preventively.”, three LAPP experts will provide you with insights into the innovation strategy and introduce you to new ideas in the field of predictive maintenance. Freya Stonawski, Global Innovation Manager at LAPP, will explain what makes innovation stand out at LAPP and how an idea becomes added value for customers. The way in which two current solutions emerged from this is illustrated by Jürgen Greger, Product Manager Industrial Communication, and Patrick Olivan, Senior Manager Business Development Services: the ETHERLINE® GUARD and the Health Check Service. Join us as we focus on innovations at LAPP and contribute your suggestions for a direct impact.

Our speakers

Freya Stonawski, Global Innovation Manager, Lapp Holding AG

Freya Stonawski is responsible for innovation at LAPP on a global level. As a graduate innovation manager, she is familiar with the strategic matters associated with this topic: foresight, innovation strategies, ideation management, the innovative capabilities of the organisation and an appropriate culture: “Innovation is particularly fun as a team with open-hearted and curious people,” shares the LAPP expert. She believes that a customer focus and technology-driven development are the linchpin of innovation – which is why Freya places great importance on interaction with customers.

Jürgen Greger, Product Manager Industrial Communication, U.I. Lapp GmbH

Jürgen Greger is a qualified industrial engineer with many years of experience in industrial communication at LAPP. He knows what customers expect from a technical perspective: “The added value of a new product or service must stand for itself – the customer now doesn’t really care whether we call it an innovation or not.” The latest development in the field of condition monitoring, the ETHERLINE® GUARD, is sure to hit the spot, as it was developed specifically based on customer requirements.

Dr. Patrick Olivan, Senior Manager Business Development Services, Lapp Holding AG

During his doctorate studies, Patrick Olivan researched how innovation can be combined with the economic and strategic needs of a company. As the Senior Manager Business Development Services at LAPP and a qualified mechanical engineer, he knows all about industrial communication developments: “Innovations and requirements are becoming increasingly complex – our customers don’t just want to have a product pushed across the imaginary shop counter; they also want comprehensive, worry-free service.”
